My mom: Someone left the gate open, and the dog got out. Who was it?
My brother: Wasn't me. Did you go outside today, LeAnna?
My sister: No, I didn't.
My brother: Did you, Olivia?
Me: Yes, I did.
My brother: Olivia left the gate open, Mom, because she said she went outside today.
Me: Excuse me very much, going outside is not the equivalent of leaving the gate open. I didn't touch the gate.
Mom: Well, the only one who could have left it open is you, Elijah.
My brother: I SAID I DIDN'T LEAVE IT OPEN!! *storms out of the room*

It wasn't THAT funny, it was just funny that I told him off like that, and that he assumed I left the gate open just because I was outside
