There's was a guy I knew from school. He's a year younger. Every time we saw each other, he'd say 'hi'.
Mom and I went to get pizza today and he was working. Now he's asking me to hang out this week. And I'm so awkward and scared of new people, especially after I dated Tyler because hanging out with him was easy for me. I knew him. But being around someone newer, who I'm sure likes me, it scares me. -
Can you figure out why it scares you or...?

Oh I know why it scares me. I know in my heart that someone could be sweet as a marshmallow at first, but could later be after my virginity. Or be out to hurt me. Or embarrass me. Or murder me. Or all of the above.
Reality horrifies me sometimes. -
And as much of a scared mouse as I am, I become aggressive, defensive. He'd learn fast that my nails aren't for show.
