I received a fourth place award for my Lincoln Douglas debate tournament that I was in.
It isn't amazing, but it could have been. You see, the person who was supposed to be in the finals couldn't make it the week of the finals so the third place got to take her place in the finals; I was literally one speaker point away from third place. This is probably due to my low self-esteem that was eating me alive during those weeks so I wasn't trying hard because I already had decided in my mind that time would fail.
But anyways... I still received a metal. ^~^ -
