3 more stations above ground and then the central line will go underground for 3 stations and then above ground for 3 more stations and back underground.
The central line is weird, but it's still my favourite line. -
Now 2 that I've passed Fairlop.
Barkingside and Newbury Park are above ground.
Gants Hill, Redbridge and Wanstead are below ground.
Leytonstone, Leyton and Stratford are above ground.
All the stations (16) from Mile End to Shepherd's Bush are below ground. -
This is a central line train to Ealing Broadway.
If I was doing a full journey from Newbury Park to White City (some trains do start and end at both stations) the train would barely be above ground.
Now going in the tunnel to Gants Hill. Also between Leyton and Stratford there is a tunnel which lasts for 1 minute and 6 seconds. -
