It is not full of happy things
It doesnt give you sweet dreams
My lullaby doesnt sing you to sleep
It only makes you weep
It makes you hurt
It makes you feel sorry
My lullaby is not sung to everyone
It doesnt have a calming melody
It is not meant for those who choose to
Ignore what they can see
My lullaby doesnt bring smiles
It doesnt bring calm
It doesnt make you want to sing along
My lullaby is only meant for those
Who wish to listen
For those who wish to know
My lullaby isnt meant for me
