I just started typing yesterday and this is what came to;
Chapter one: First Sight
Max's POV:
It was an early Saturday morning and I woke up alone in my house. My sister who stayed with me had left out early to go into town and have "fun" with her friends as usual. I propped up off my bed as I wipe my eyes with the sleeves of my blue and yellow striped sweater which was a bit large on me. My room is nothing too big, but for me its just the right size.
I sigh before I start to slowly walk over to my closet in the corner of my room, turning on my radio quickly just as I pass by it, it started to play one of my favorite songs; By The Way. As I open my closet and look through my clothes within, I hum along to the song, sometimes singing along. After a few minutes of looking inside the closet, p pull out my real colored tanktop and a pair of blue jeans. Walking over to my bed I slowly unbutton my sweater, pulling it off and replacing it with the tanktop I had pulled out. I then replace the pants I was wearing at the time with the pair of jeans, they had a rather tight fit though around my waist but I could still move well in them.
After changing, I turn the radio off and head towards the large wooden door leading into the hallway and then down the flight of stairs to the first floor of the two story house. "10:27" I say as I look up to the clock hanging over a picture of me and sis at the beach a few years ago. Good times, but we haven't been there since then. Things have changed so much in just 3 years. Mom's death was probably why, since that tragic day a 2 years ago, less and less time have I had to spend with my sis.
I approach the refrigerator and notice a small letter stuck to the door. I open the fridge and grab a sandwich, premade last night, and a glass of milk and walk to the dining table with the letter. After finishing up eating, I open the letter and see it is in my susters handwriting, it read;
"Dear Maxxie,
I know we haven't been spending alot of time together recently, and im sorry about that. It's just I am busy with work alot and tired when home. I wish we could be like we were a few years ago and I know you do as well. I swear I'll make time for it later in the year, we need to keep the house though or we'll be living on the streets. Also, Maxxie, our new neighbors are moving in today and I made a our last night to give to them. Could you get it and take it over to them when they show up? Thanks. It's in the bottom of the fridge.
-Love Lucy."
"In the bottom of the fridge... Wait, neighbors? I wonder if any of them are around my age." I said, pondering on it. Knowing my luck no one would even be close though. I was just 16, not hard to be close but I still doubted it with luck like mine, chances of that were very slim. -

What really is okay?
Maybe I don't know.
