I had gotten pretty tired, so I watched some TV. On the news, I saw police report from Philidelphia about a 17 year old girl disappearing, and when they showed a photo of who disappeared, I found out that they were talking about me.

i turned to the news.....i saw the girl next door....i was amazed,then i saw somthing about me,i ran to the girls door.
i knocked on it
"you're...a runa...runaway too?" -
I threw the guy into my room and closed the door.
"Don't you dare tell anyone!" -
"i won't,i'm one too..l...look.
i pointed to the screen were they were showing my picture -
I looked at the TV. It was true, he was a runaway too.
"Why?" I asked him. -
"why?"
i repeated stedily
"cuz life works wrong"
"it's all messed up" -
"My parents..."
Then a thought hit me. Why should I be telling him my life? I threw him out of my room and locked the door. -
i was dumbstruck
i sat outside her door until she came out again -
In the morning...
I woke up. The hotel bed wasn't very comfortable, but it was okay. I knew that I needed to find a job today, so I walked out of the room, and there was Elton, sitting right by my door, asleep. -
i woke up to the sound of a door.
"eh sorry"
"listen,i need to talk to you"
i brought her into my room,locked the door,sat her on my bed -
"What is it?" I said, tapping my foot impatiently.

"runaways"
i said with a "HUHG"
"i am just like you,parents argue,yell,fight and we leave."
"i am trying to have a new life,are you with me,or against me"
"you have to understand" -
"Against you." I said, and left the room, shutting the door behind me.

i pulled her back in
"LISTEN TO ME!"
that was the worst thing i ever done,i had shoved her against the wall,i didn't care in my rage
"i have to let you know! i don't care anymore,life sux,there is no reason anymore!"
"i can't understand you,but you can understand me,WE ARE THE SAME!" -
I grabbed a large mug and punched Elton in the face with it. I don't blame myself, it was an act of self-defense. Then I knocked out his breathing and slipped out of the room.
