I'm excited to get my Sansung J320 smartphone. My old one is an LG Optimus G, and I had it since 2013. It was slowly breaking apart, lol.

Just choose whichever one is inexpensive in terms of retail and data overage prices. Hence why I went along with the Samsung.

Yep. I wanted an LG G5, which is the most recent brand. However, when visiting the AT&T store, it was around $400 dollars, maybe? So there.
Which phone brand are you considering? If it's okay with your parents. -
