But onlookers would not notice the difference. Then they would sent their kittens there to play in the empty field, getting them killed as well. So what good have you done if you have killed the original kittens and other people's kittens?

Nothing. But they aren't my kittens and I'm not in the mood for kittens so it wouldn't matter much.
