Current Soap Ideas:
A doctor who films videos over the period of a year makes his videos more and more desperate as he plunges in the depths of schizophrenia. Only, he really isn't schizophrenic, he makes these videos so that when he decides to kill his wife, he can plead guilty.
A young man named Danny is a reformed criminal. Now he spends most of his time hanging out in bars with friends and enjoying, because he knows he will die. Danny has a neurological disorder that will kill him by paralysing him over the course of 2-5 years. A woman meets him at the bar, falling in love with him hard and fast. She knows he will die, and is destined to make his life amazing. Unfortunately, his past catches up with him and he's sent to a mental institution for "faking" his disease.
In the future, the major capital is sectioned into two areas. The first is the west side, decrepit, battered and hopelessly poor. With a good sense of morals, justice and tradition, however, the west siders refuse to join the east end. When a westerner gives up his ancient political and moral beliefs and passing a test, he is welcome to join the east end. If they decide to go back, it's permanent. The east end is sprawling, as vain as it is powerful, and riddled with security. One woman rules, barking orders out like a general as the side fights to win over tourists and keep the rest of the world at bay.
