And why do you speak like that? You speak like you are so intelligent and so mature. You try to act like this person.. because maybe you are afraid of your past instead of your future. -

Also, I don't wanna seem like one of those people who only takes the first few quotes and acts like they've read the book, but Antigone has some fantastic quotes way early on.

She is afraid of her past though. She acts like that because she tries to get rid of all the innocence and childlike qualities so they don't remind her of hr childhood and how it was screwed up. It is complicated, really.

The only complicated thing here is trying to work out your mental process. She's not "afraid of her past". She's literally just smarter and better than you. There are no lines to read between here. You're only trying to make it something deeper because you can't accept the simple truth on the surface.

If you were truely the better person, you would have ignored. But no, you are too stubborn for that tactic so you simply think insulting and trying to be like those 'holys---iknowitallandialsolikeattackontitan' users just to make yourselves look above the line and just IMPORTANT.
