(We've both fallen into the river Kit!)
-
Kyoko blinked at the trees, and ran in.
First thing that happened, she was tackled by a white wolf.
She blinked, and yelped, startled.
The wolf snarled. -
Casa looked over. "Oh no no no! This will not do, my doggie friend!"
-
"So, how is Kyoko?" her grandmother asked, "H-how do you know who I was with?" Wawetseka asked. Her grandmother chuckled, "You're very protective over her, you know that?" "I just don't like how most everyone treats her."
-
Kyoko tried to push the wolf off.
It looked her in the face, yellow eyes glowing.
She heard it's thoughts clearly.
Otter's don't belong in the forest.
She yelped again. -
(i know)
Sylvia didn't seem to notice that she was soaked at the moment. -
I swam up to the surface, and grabbed hold of the shore.
"Woah, sorry about that." I got up from the water and put my hand out the help whoever I knocked into the water. -
"Well, she's fine. She almost got cought in the rain, though." Wawetseka said, giving her grandmother some lumpy tea. Wawetseka didn't know how she could drink it, but she did.
-
" It's ok. What were you running from anyways?" she asked as she ringed the water out of her hair.
-
She whistled, getting the wolf's attention. "OFF THE CHILD NOW!" She glared into the dog's eyes.
-
The wolf looked at Cassa, and snarled one last time at Kyoko, then raced off deeper into the forest.
Kyoko got up shakily, then said quietly "Thanks. I'm Kyoko ClearMind."
She left out the otter tribe part but it was kinda obvious, from her seashell neckless to the otter tattoo on her cheek. -
I saw the group of dogs running in the distance.
"That." I whispered and jumped over the lake, then started running again. -
Casa looked at her. "Otter huh? One of my parents was otter, the other was wolf. Kinda pulls me between the two." She smiled. "I'll lead you back...So the wolves don't get you."
-
It was boring in the village, so Wawetseka decided to walk around the lake. She started down, humming an Otter song on the way.
-
Looking over to see the dogs in the distance, she followed the girl who just took off.
