I find that religion is a boundary. If we overcome religion we see the world with new eyes. You no longer hate gays, killing is no longer in the name of God, Atheists aren't the spawn of your hate. Christianity is one of the worst things to be burdoned with. I'd prefer to have every other religion, than be Christian. Sure, you can still believe in God, but you don't have worship him, and pray. You can just believe, right? But no. Christianity takes everything overboard. Atheists worship Satan, not believing becomes the equivalent of murder... I'm sure if you take a Christian who shoves their beliefs down an atheists throat- I'm sure if they were the atheist, they'd tell the Christian that they're religion didn't matter more than the dirt on his shoes. As I said, if you give up your religion, everything becomes clearer, life becomes more simple- you don't have to live up to Gods expectations "because if not you'll go to hell." Automatically, you don't have to be "forgiven" every time you get angry, because anger is a "sin". What if happiness was a sin, and you had to pray and ask forgiveness every time you laughed? Seems a bit rediculous huh? Which is why I choose not to be labeled with a religion. Everyone hates stereotypes, and that's what religion is. One big stereotype with branches of stereotypes.
