The book series is called the Horus Heresy. So far there are 27 books in the series. Each book has around 35 characters in it.
The Horus Heresy, takes place 10,000 years before the current time frame of the Warhammer 40,000 universe and is the explanation for the downfall of the human empire.
This s--- has won awards for having the most in depth story line in all of fiction. -

I'm a casual reader. I've read three novels this year. About as fast as they come out. I'm still 15 behind the current one. It's intense stuff.
Although I can't really tell if you're legitimately interested or are just making faces until I go away. -
okay, this is like tottaly off topic, but I've realized that I see every single f---ing guy on GTQ as a blonde except for Alek, Alex, and... Alex... WTF?
