It's autumn now...
-
The summer went by so quickly. I really didn't want it to end.. I love the city in the summertime.
-
I remember the first song I ever memorized the lyrics to.
I was 6. I would listen to a crappy radio that sounded like tin and they always played this.
It's playing right now. Sounds a lot better on my phone. -
I remember when my grandma took me to a peace protest/rally/whatever you want to call it for the first time.
I was 7.
Everyone there was so nice. They were all so passionate about their beliefs.
I loved it so much..
But my mom yelled at me when I got home... She told me war was part of the bible and that the lord called for us to support it. -
She also took me to a gay rights thingy once. Well, twice. I promised I wouldn't tell my mom.
There were so many amazing people there, they were all so happy and had amazing stories to tell about their lives.
The second time my mom found out and got into a huge fight with my grandma.. -
I am sitting
In the morning
At the diner
On the corner
I am waiting
At the counter
For the man
To pour the coffee
And he fills it
Only halfway
And before
I even argue
He is looking
Out the window
At somebody
Coming in
"It is always
Nice to see you"
Says the man
Behind the counter
To the woman
Who has come in
She is shaking
Her umbrella
And I look
The other way
As they are kissing
Their hellos
I'm pretending
Not to see them
Instead
I pour the milk
I open
Up the paper
There's a story
Of an actor
Who had died
While he was drinking
It was no one
I had heard of
And I'm turning
To the horoscope
And looking
For the funnies
When I'm feeling
Someone watching me
And so
I raise my head
There's a woman
On the outside
Looking inside
Does she see me?
No she does not
Really see me
Cause she sees
Her own reflection
And I'm trying
Not to notice
That she's hitching
Up her skirt
And while she's
Straightening her stockings
Her hair
Has gotten wet
Oh, this rain
It will continue
Through the morning
As I'm listening
To the bells
Of the cathedral
I am thinking
Of your voice...
And of the midnight picnic
Once upon a time
Before the rain began...
I finish up my coffee
It's time to catch the train -
Idk why I'm talking about this. I've never talked to anyone about any of this before.
-
My mom wouldn't let me go into a store once because there were "too many black people in it".
Idk I've just never told anyone that. -
I'm really grateful that my parents adopted me.
But I hate that they raised me as a Christian. I've been a pacifist since I learned what violence was. I've been demi since I first heard my mom ask "Do you think [male celebrity name] is cute~?" I don't know.. I hate how they raised me. -
^ That post was hard to type.
-
...I don't think I've ever called myself a pacifist before...

My name is Luka
I live on the second floor
I live upstairs from you
Yes I think you've seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble. some kind of fight
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was -
"Posting lyrics is pointless."
- Me, before I found the titles to the songs that I used to listen to on that crappy radio that sounded like tin. -
