DRESS CODE
Crop tops, strapless tops, low-cut clothing or transparent/translucent clothing, sagging clothing, clothing with slits, holes and/or tops and outfits that provide minimum coverage are prohibited.
There should be no skin showing between the bottom of the shirt/blouse and the top of pants or skirts.
No spaghetti straps or tank tops permitted; all shirts must cover the entire shoulder.
Cleavage should not be visible.
Although fashionable clothing may be purchased with holes, there should be no skin showing in areas that are above the knee.
Shorts and skirts must be no more than two (2) inches from the top of the knee in length.
All jeans, pants and trousers must be secured at waist level. Sagging is strictly prohibited.
Jeans pants and trousers are not to have rips or tears that expose undergarments.
All shorts and pants must be hemmed and without fraying.
All headgear is prohibited on campus with exception of those worn as part of a designated school approved uniform or at an authorized athletic practice or activity. This includes hats, bandanas, sweatbands and headbands.
Clothing containing slogans or advertising, which by their controversial or obscene nature disrupt the educational setting are strictly prohibited. This includes clothing that adtertises illegal activities, drinking and/or drug use.
No spiked or studded clothing.
No bedroom slippers.
No pajama pants.
Visible jewelry, studs and other similar items, which are attached by body piercing to areas other than the ears, are prohibited.
Wallet chains are prohibited.
Wearing additional clothing, such as a jacket, to cover an item that is a violation of this High School's dress code policy is prohibited. Additionally, this pertains to the wearing of leggings under skirts or shorts that are too short, or under jeans with holes in them.
Students that are wearing an article of clothing that violates the dress code policy are subject to discipline. Any student violating the dress code will not be allowed to attend class. Continuous violations will result in RPC and may lead to suspension from school.
