Undyne is a top detective. Best in the business. She's like bad cop times 10.
Sans is a vigilante investigator who does all work undercover. He's got a whole good cop bad cop personality.
Papyrus is a aspiring detective even though he can't observe clues very well or piece together the clues he does get for s---.
Mettaton is a part time stripper and full time drug dealer. She is built by Alphys, a seemingly innocent science nerd who is actually a drug lord who built mettaton to be a terminator-esq bodyguard and a shipper of her goods.
These are all just concepts -
that's really unique, I'll give you that
but I'm not very knowledgeable about that type of stuff -
