He's really sweet. Even though my sister, his wife, died a few years ago, he still treats me like family and visits.

Yeah a few years ago. She had three kids, Andru, Bradlee, and Christopher. If you ever see me refer to someone as 'the boys' or 'my nephews', I mean them.

She probably died once Christopher was born.

No.lol Christopher/Grady is 9. Bradlee is 11. Andru is 13.
She died of heart complications. She had a pacemaker and the pocket of her heart it was in kept getting infected because the dumb--- doctors did it wrong. -
Oh no. A hospital accident. Those doctor's should have been sued for your sister's death.

We tried to sue him, but the case fell through. The autopsy couldn't prove he was negligent, and none of the other doctors or nurses would testify against him, even though we all know he made a mistake.
It was all a bunch of chaos and bs. We were going to use the money from the case to help pay for the boys' college funds. -
Come on. A doctor should at least be aware of their negligence. That's the whole shtick of becoming one! You have to be cautious not to damage any organs.

I know, but he just blamed it all on circumstance. He sent her home without her pacemaker! She had a seizure at home and by the we got the ambulance out there she had lost too much oxygen to her brain.
I remember standing outside trying to distract the boys. Bradlee and Grady had no idea what was going on, they had been ushered out of the house without seeing their mom.
Poor Andru was trying not to cry because he knew.
I think that's the thing that really brought me and Andru so close together, though. I mean, we've always been close, but I've become like his elder sister now.
I'm the closest thing to a mom he has now, besides his dad. I'm the closest thing they all have.
Cause it's not like my other sister pays attention to them. -
