He put his hands on her waist pushed her slowly to the ground.
"Alright, just here me out. About 100 years ago, both our clans had about 20,000 people in them. And now the connelly clan has about 500 and the doriks have about 300., and then numbers are gonna get lower and lower if we keep fighting, until there's nothing left. Ya get me?" -
She smiled, intensifying the kiss.
He glared at Torrence. "Your point...?"
Jake looked at the two men. "Hey, your clans are bonding!" -
Chase's finger lightly grazed her cheekbone.
"Maybe..." he mumbled. -
She ran a hand through his hair.
"Get on with it, Torrence." -
He smiled under the kiss.
"Our clans are so small....i think we should..." he took a deep breath. "Combine them." -
She forgot about the war completely. Every ounce of her was focused entirely on Chase.
"I think, regardless of whether we want to or not," James finally acknowledged Jake's discovery, "that our clans will join together no matter what." -
Torrence smiled. He ran back to the masion and rung the bell. All the heads turned towards him."
He ran a hand through her wet hair as they kissed. -
James followed behind. However, Jake stayed.

Torrence took a deep breathe. About 500 hundred people. "Hey! Do i have your atrention now?" Everyone was surprised to see james and torrence together.

"Wait," James whispered to Torrence, "who'll be in charge?"

"The both of us." He whispered.

He nodded. "So, everyone," he began in a loud, clear voice, "while my father, the recently retired leader of the Doriks would not approve, Torrence and I have decided to... decided to combine the clans."

Everyone gasped in shock, and torrence repeated the speech he had give to james.

"We'll figure out living situations later... As everyone knows, the Connellies can't go through the forest." James looked over the crowd. Some were angry, others were shocked, and even more were relieved.
