He smiled lightly, one eye glowing light green. "You're smart.I like that."

She blushed more."I'm not really that smart." Alot of kids at her school called her crazy.

He gently squeezed her hand. "Trust me, you are smart, no matter what anyone tells you."

She blushed deep red she felt like she was going to faint."R-Really?"

He smiled brightly, nodding. "Why would I lie?"

She looked away and smiled a bit."Thank you."

He looked back at the sun, and frowned. "Don't look now, but we have three on our tails." He spoke softly, his eyes starting to glow silver.

She sighed. She'd never be able to keep them away. The three demons appeared in front of them. They had fox like eyes. "well, which one of you is the big amount if spiritual energy?" The lead one said with a fox like smile on his face. Yuri hid behind him still holding his hand.

The lead fox demon snapped its fingers and the two others attacked. Yuri let go of his hand so he'd be able to fight.

He twisted one leg inyo the air, kicking the head of one. On the way down, he snapped out his hand, slicing the stomach of the other.

The leader got behind Yuri and wrapped his arms around her waist."let me go!!!"she kicked him but he tightened his grip on her. She winced.

He turned away from the other two, growling at the one holding her. "Let her go, or I'll end your life, right now."

The fox demon smirked."Awe the little demon likes this one." Yuri squirmed in his grasp. The fox demon bit down on her shoulder. She screamed.

He disappeared, reappearing behind the demon, and digging his claws into its neck. "Let. Her. Go."
