She blinked at him. Her tail twitched nervously as she tried to figure out what to say to him.

"The man told me he would do something...I get horrible visions. It's high time I kept you near me." Bryce put his hands on Samantha's waist, blinking.

"Bryce..." Worry filled her voice. She couldn't stand seeing him like this.

Bryce shrugged at his own name. Bryce. It made him feel horrible. Sick. Weak. "I'm fine...just a little hungry, I suppose." he replied softly.

"then why don't I get something for you?" She asked him. She could already guess his answer.

"Not without me- You know, we should go out sometime. This house is stuffy." He stammered, staring at Samantha.

She blinked at him with her eyes wide. "uh sure, I guess we could." She hadn't been out of the house for a while. Her ears flicked in excitement.

"I think we should go now." Bryce said. The sun setting, and it was easier to drive around that time.

Uh sure." She smiled. Not a fake one she usually used, but an actual smile. She felt happy for now.

Bryce set Samantha down on the bed and walked over to a closet, disappearing for a moment. He returned and handed Samantha a box. Inside was a beautiful rose-colored dress with long sleeves.

She stared at the dress. It was better than anything she's ever worn." Bryce....thank you." She smiled."I'll go put it on."

"You better." Bryce teased. He disappeared back into the closet.

She rolled her eyes, and slipped off her work outfit quickly and slipped the dress on. It fit perfectly. She blinked. Wow I look nice....

Bryce cames out a moment later with a white shirt, black jacket, and black pants on. His hair was tussled around. The hecklace remained on his neck. He leaned on the doorway. "You look nice."
