Bryce blinked when Luke came back. "Hello, Mr. River. And the pretty lady. What do you guys want to drink?" He asked cheerfully. Bryce came back to reality. A few more people stared at him. "Er....Coke." Bryce shrugged.

She snapped back to reality."um water..." She said calmly. Samantha felt more people stare at her. A few muttered something about her ears and wondered why she was with Bryce.

Luke winked again and walked off to go get their drinks. Bryce firmly held Samantha's hand. He heard one person wondering if Bryce was mentally ill. He laughed. "Ignore the people. My family's well known here in the city."

Samantha blushes. She hoped everything would be okay and people would stop talking. She was getting weird vibes from Luke. "O-okay." She said nervously.

Luke came back, easily setting down the drinks. "So what do you guys want to eat?" He asked. "Ladies first." Bryce said. People who overheard giggled and laughed with excitment.

Her ears flicked and she flushed with embarrassment. "I...um.." She flinched nervously. She didn't want them to laugh at her. It brought back too many memories.

Luke leaned on the table, waiting. Bryce shoved his menu in Luke's face. Luke let out a half laugh.

Samantha tried to calm herself, but she heard more people talking about her. She just wanted to leave, but she couldn't just leave Bryce here....

Luke heard the noise getting louder. He growled. "HEY. ALL OF YOU. SHUT UP." His words made many people go deathly quiet. They all turned away, beginning to talk about other stuff.
Bryce blinked at Luke's reaction. He glanced over to Samantha. -
She glanced at Bryce with a small amount of fear. She didn't want to disappoint him....wait when did she start caring about that?! She sighed and tried again to calm herself.

Bryce attempted to speak, but couldn't. He just sat there.
Luke muttered something before turning back to Samantha and Bryce. "I'm sorry...that wasn't...yeah." -
Samantha sighed and tried to think of what to say, but nothing came out.

Everyone had calmed down. The stares they had been receiving stopped. The talk about them vanished. Luke has been able to get everyone to calm down. Even the ones who were upset had calmed. Everyone seemed to be back in their happy mood. Bryce let out a small sigh. He felt much better.

Samantha finally calmed down, but she didn't feel hungry anymore. Maybe it wasn't a smart idea to go out of the house....She sighed.

Luke waited. And waited. Bryce blinked. "I think we'll just get a pizza. You know." he stammered. Luke nodded, wrote something down, and scurried off. Bruce relaxed into the chair, looking at Samantha. Boy....she's interesting. Wait, what? Sam's technically still a...slave. No. Maid. I don't like that word. Meh. But she's still interesting. I don't think..I don't think she's said anything yet. Weird..
