He closed the door and walked to the drivers side. I almost forgot his family was rich, but he wasn't snobby about it. He opened the drivers side door and sat down closing the door." Ready?" He asked. I nodded and we drove off.

I hopped onto my bike and put on my helmet, then went after them, still staying behind so they won't notice

"so....the new girl got attached to you." He said trying to start a conversation. "um yeah she did..." I glanced out the window. It felt awkward, I've never been in a car with him before and I actually was nervous.

I touched the side of my helmet and moved a part of it away. I touched the device in my ear and turned it up so I can hear what they're saying. Then I closed my helmet again

" she sounds cool though. She took down Shawn." James laughed. "yeah she took down your greedy step brother."I smiled. His laugh was something new. It sounded different.

Step brother? "Note number 1 Shawn is James' step brother" I said to my mask "Note taken" My mask replied

"So what do you want to do at the mall?" I asked. James smiles "well I was thinking we could just walk around and talk."

So far, nothing else new. Except its a date

I saw the mall and he pulled into the parking lot.

I followed them to the local mall

James dragged me into the mall and walked around with me. It was weird having his hand in mine. I felt a flutter in my stomach, but I shrugged it off

I waited outside the door. I'm not very social

I looked at all the stores. I haven't been here in ages. James looked around for something and pulled me to the ice cream shop in the mall.

I decided to go in. I needed some new clothes. New school, new clothes. I walked into the mall and looked around a bit

James bought me a vanilla cone of ice cream. I smiled." Thanks." James blushed and smiled back. It felt like my stomach did a flip. This was new for me.
