"Better, with you around." She smiled a little. -
(Whats up?)
I smiled, "good," I roll my wrist and look at the time, twenty minutes before sunrise. "Want to watch the sunrise?" -
(just got back from play practice. Annie.)
She yawned and sat up. "Sure." -
(Hmm.)
I sat up too, "best place is about two miles from here, on the lake." -
"2 miles?" She said, getting up off the couch.

"Not that far." I say, stretching my arms, "we could cover it in a few minutes"

"A few minutes? what?" She asked, running a hand through her soft hair.

"Well, I could carry you again," I said, somewhat embarrassed.

She laughed and looked out the window. "Sure."

"Get your jacket on," I say, smiling. "Ill meet you out front."

She nodded and put her PINK light orange jacket on, walking out the door.

I had walked outside and shifted, pacing back and forth, I was barely visible in the pre-dawn darkness.

She yawned once more and spotted him.
