Jill was so focused on the movie that at one point, she didn't even realized she was making funny faces.

I glance over, and have to suppress a chuckle.

She stopped and moved a tiny bit closer, folding her legs behind her.

I wanted to... "Jill..." I whispered, barely heard above the sound of the movie.

"Yea?" She looked up at him.

"For the first time in my life, I care about something." I whispered, looking into her eyes.

"The first time?"

"Yeah," I say, somewhat sadly. "You gave me something to care about."

She smiled and hugged him.

I hugged her back, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." she looked down then back up at the movie, it was almost ending.

I yawn, having not slept well. Well, we were safe, right?

The movie ended. Jill stretched out and strood up,.

"I'm going to sleep, I didn't sleep well last night." I say, stretching out. My hand brushes against hers briefly.

"Mkay." She nodded and chnaged the channel.
