"If you want..." she muttered, walking out the door to the woods, shifting as soon as she got to the edge.

I followed her out, and shifted next to her.

She looked at him and burst off into a run.

I ran next to her, avoiding my broken arm, but slightly slower than her.

She slowed down a little to match his pace, darting past the branches.

Thanks, I said, running next to her.

She thought she saw something out of the corner of her eye, but ignored it, still running.

I ignored the feeling we were being followed.

She saw a blur infront of her, and stopped herself out of confusion.

I stopped, and looked back, checking our rear. More movement.

She looked around. Blurs...and more blurs. Could this be.......? when she least expected it. Damn.

Oh, hell no. Were outnumbered... Always happens...

She let out a low growl. Woah....the 28th attempt....you would think they've given up by now.
