All it really was was a stream, but it was water none the less. "There."

Akira didn't realize how thirsty he was. "Yeah?"

"We're going to drink."

Akira nodded. "Okay."

Dai just approached the stream without much other word and cupped his hands to get some water.

Akira did the same and drank the water slowly, enjoying it.

Daisuke just chugged that s--- down.

Akira finished drinking. -
When he finished, he gave out a relived sigh. "Ah.. better," he muttered.

Akira nodded, agreeing with him.

"Do you want to get heading now?"

"Sure," he said, drying his hands on his pants.

He nodded, getting back up.

"What are we gonna do after we get where we're heading?"

"I.. Well, once we have a place to stay I guess I can go ahead and try to build up some sort of close relationship with you. Like a son, maybe. We'll be far enough so no one would recognize our names.." Usually, when Dai spoke more than a couple of sentences, his voice would trail off. This time wasn't much of an exception.
