Look at this concept art for the cancelled Jet Set Radio Wii game. It looks sweet. I would totally play this. Sega's just a jerk.

In the first game, Jet Grind Radio, you were timed in each level and you had to move the analog stick in certain directions in order to properly tag an area, while you only had to press a single button to tag in Jet Set Radio Future. There was also no time limit in in the levels in Jet Set Radio Future, making the game much easier. But somtimes I would get stuck for an hour trying to find the last area to tag, so I guessnot having a time limit is useful since the new areas seem to be a bit more complex than in the original game. And it looks like they were going to go back to the way tagging worked in the original game judging by this picture.

Splatoon was supposedly inspired by Jet Grind Radio.
*GASP*
Indirect sequel? -
Nah, there's too many differences between the games. Also, the GGs don't even exist in Splatoon. :P
-
And that's how Jet Set Squid was born.
-
Was Splatoon really that influenced by Jet Set Radio? I guess so since people are drawing Jet Set Squid fan art. :P

For whatever reason, there's a glitch in Jet Set Radio Future that can strip the texture off of Yoyo's skates and hair, making him look like an old man in skates. I'll never understand that. :P
-
His hair is supposed to be green and his skates are supposed to be yellow by the way.

I've always found it weird to play as Pots. The game is supposed to be realistic fiction, but then you have their dog skating around on two legs. I love how Pots has little clothes in Jet Set Radio Future. :P
-
Oh no... Does that mean there's dog gangs skating around? ._.
