  I want to tell you a time of mine I had.
  I was 12 and my little brother was 2.I had a neighbor who was ten.
  Well, she and I decided to walk to the forest that day.
  We were bored.
  Well,turns out that my little brother,Levi, wanted to come.
  We said yes and headed to the forest.

  We left at noon.
  I fortuanatlly packed us some water bottles so we didn't have to worry too bad about thirst.
  Us kids walked for a while and we didn't notice we were off the trail.
  My freind said we should follow east, so we did.
  BIG mistake.

  All I know is that when lost you:
  
  1) Go through anything you may have and see what you have to work with
  2) Make a shelter that can shelter you or anyone else, can handle tough situations and won't collapse on you
  3) Find easy-to-eat food at first
  4) Make a fire
  5) Find bigger food if you want
  6) Find ways to get attention, and be rescued

  It didn't take me long to realize we were utterly lost.
  Levi cried and so did Ragen.
  I was left the only sane one.
  First, I steered us west and and followed that way.
  We were going the right way, but dark was setting quickly.
  I used a thistle and a the bark of a oak tree to start a fire.
  I had to gather sticks to keep it going and I had to find sticks to make a sort-of shelter.
  Darkness fell and we ate two of the granola bars we brought.
  I gave Levi mine and went hungry that night.

  We woke up, but Levi was tired.
  I carried him on my back and went through the following things:
  We found a telephone pole and followed it west.,
  We had to cross a gorge.(No joke)
  We had to avoid a snake
  We had to be quiet of the deer.(It was rutting season)
  I had to deal with Levi and Ragen panicking.
  Well, my trampoline was in sight.
  We litterally cried.I carried Levi and Ragen followed.
  We landed on the trampoline and were at my house.
  I walked down the driveway with Levi and faced a horrible punishment from my parents.
  I was safe though.
