I realized Id said outloud. I was silent for a few minutes before I made up my mind. "Everything." -

I took frightened little baby steps into the water, tensing up multiple times due to a thought of paranoia where I thought a gargantuan drop-off would suddenly come and that I'd drown.

I reached my hand toward him, smiling. "I got cha."

I grabbed his hand, joyful glee rising in my chest. I didn't reveal my excitement, just because of the water. The water was soon up to my ribs.

I gave his hand a gentle squeeze and we walked deeper. "Ready when you are." I whispered.

Mentally squealing, I nodded ever so slightly. Ready or not, I had to try.

I smiled, holding his forearm and lifting him up a little. I then tilt him foreward so I had my hands on his stomach. "Paddle with your feet and move your arms back and forth."
