"Why do you ask, Braken?"

Braken shrugged, looking away from Yuri. "Just wondering."

He noticed that Braken looked away, but didn't say anything about it. "Oh, well okay."

Braken nodded, looking at the flowers.

I was thinking, could we possible have a timeskip of some sort? Because at this rate we probably wouldn't get too far that fast lolsies.
Yuri smiled, looking at the flowers with him. They kinda reminded him of Braken. -
Yeah, totally.
Braken smelled the nice flowers. -
Okies. :3 Though this is going to get dark really fast.
As they were examining the flowers, Yuri couldn't help but think about how wonderful his life was going at that moment. He was happy, there was a girl in his life, but most importantly he had a really close friend too.
And so months later, Yuri was back in his old naggy state. Braken still lived with them, and that irritated the prince. Aiki was claiming that she was pregnant, and that only caused for more fury. It wouldn't be too long before Yuri snapped. -
Holy f--- that escalated quickly.
Braken didn't like how Yuri had been acting at all, lately, and tried to stay away from him, but that wasn't so easy at first. But after about a month, whatever kept Braken so close to Yuri wore off, and he often stayed alone in the guest bedroom he stayed in. Recently he had been contemplating whether to leave or not. -
That made me giggle because it's true huhuhu.
During that time Aiki would stay a lot with Braken, not wanting to interfere with Yuri's anger. It was one day where she finally told Braken, "I'm scared of him." -
Yeah.
What Aiki told him wasn't surprising. He suspected everybody who lived in the mansion or whatever it was was scared of him. Even Braken himself. He didn't exactly respond to her comment, but brought up a different subject. "I think I should leave.." -
"No, don't leave Braken," she whimpered softly, her eyes instantly filling with tears. "I don't want you to leave me here all alone with him. Please, he won't do anything to you," Aiki pleaded. She was desperate at this point.

"If you're so scared of him, then why don't you leave? Go find somebody that doesn't frighten you." Braken pulled his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms around his legs. It was a position he sat in a lot lately.

"I can't, Braken. The baby.." she whispered, holding her stomach as to emphasis the whole 'baby' matter.
