I felt like I was in a current.A current of people taking me from my best friend,Tara."Tara!"I screamed,hoping i'd see her.

i heard her and called back "elsa el-" i was knocked over and as i was trampled and lost my consiousness

Tara was cut off.I tried to move against the people,but an adult grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me inside.once 'everyone' was inside,I started screaming."No,no,no,no,no!"

i woke up and ran for the shelter. the door had closed. i looked at my watch "it's gonna happen i three... two... o-" i blacked out

I heard a deafening boom.It was like fifteen planes flying by my ear,but I didn't put my hands up to my ears,like others.I was staring at the door,hoping that Tara would come,unharmed,but that was impossible.

i woke up and felt extremely sick. i got up and started walking around. i stopped. "did, did i j-just surv-vive th-that" i stuttered and waljs away from the shelter

As soon as we knew the bomb was done,I unlatched the door,and looked around.I saw a hurt Tara."Tara!"

"no go back inside! the radiation will kill you! it'll die down in a week!" i shouted back to her "i think i'll survive till then!" i looked at her pleadingly

"God,I hate rules,they're so annoying,"I muttered,"How will you survive without food and water?"

"i'll find a way just please" i replyed

"Oh shut up,I got a breathing mask,"I put it on."alright?Anyways,I'm not leaving."

"it's not the air! please you black like a light. please" i looked at her pleading her to stay as i slightly started to tear up

"Then what is it?You know how I am when friends are in trouble,I stay by them,"I hooked my arm around hers.

"it's the ground, the trees, the water. everything's iradiated now. including me. so please just wait the week" i looked into her eyes
