'Pretty good. Are you coming to the cup?'

'Nah, I don't have a way to go. I haven't heard from Sage or the Weasleys or Harry all summer. Then again, I didn't really tell I ran away from home.'
I flashed a smile at Kale, to show him that I was alright. He stared at me a little longer. "You seen a little...out of it." I stuck out my tongue. "I like to think. It's a Ravenclaw trait, you know." -
Sage: I slumped on the couch, tears prickling in my eyes. "Stupid bloody parents." I muttered. George sat next me, handing me a steaming mug of tea. "Don't be so quick to write them off." He said. "It's not their fault they had to leave so soon." I wanted throw the cup across the room. "They do this to me every month, George. I'm not even sure if they're my real parents anymore."
Fred came in, looking worried. "Um guys?"
"What, Fred? Are you okay?"
"It's not me, it's..."
"What? Who?"
"When was the last time you heard from Tori?" -

'Wait, you what? Where have you been staying?'

I stood, fingers sliding down to the few coins in my pocket. I'd be using them to get a ride to the Cup. And then Hogwarts, I guess. I'd be able to get out of my house. -
I ate a bit of ice cream. 'I've been at the Leakey Cauldron for about a month now. I couldn't bear to be in that house again. Too many memories. Why?'
Kale looked at me expectantly. "Huh?" I said. kale rolled his eyes. "I asked if you were planning on going to the Quidditch World Cup tonight."
I shook my head. "No, I don't think I can make it. I could call my older brother, who works in the Ministry, but he's so busy all the time. And the Weasleys have too many people as it is, what with Sage, Harry, and Hermione staying with them." -
"Bye." I said loudly, not expecting my dad to answer. To my surprise, his voice came back down the stairs.
"Bye, Dusk. See you next year."
I blinked, grabbed my stuff, and went outside. I.must have looked strange, lugging around all the school stuff and clothes I'd be needing until next year, but I didn't care. Much. The Knight bus would come soon, no doubt. I'd arranged that. I'd stop by Diagon Alley, leave my stuff at the Leaky Cauldron, and go to the Cup. -
'You know you could have come to stay at Malfoy Manor.'

I tilted my head. 'No, I'm good. I just need a little time to myself, that's all.'
Kale stuck his spoon on his nose and held out his arms, grinning. I started laughing, and snirted mid-laugh, which made him laugh as well. "God, Kale...I was eating!"
"But you weren't talking. So I decided to do something to break you out of your...thoughts." He tapped my forehead, winking. I blushed. -
'Okay. But remember, Malfoy Manor is always an option. And what the hell is a spoon doing on that guys nose?'

'Of course. I'll try to get everything I need before I go. I just tossed some things into a trunk and left.' I snorted. 'No idea. He's a bit...strange, for a pureblood.'
"Kale, please take it off. What if someone sees?" -

'Wait, he's a pureblood?' -
Outside, I got into the Knight Bus once it came and prepared myself for a bumpy, erratic ride. The heads really annoyed me.
