A Dominican-America, who's particularly famous here in the states, and in Mexico. Republica Dominicana, too.
First of all-- I HATE HIM. So much. His voice is beyond squeaky to me! It sounds so whiny and weird. >.>' From what I know, Dominicans don't really have such high voices, especially men.
But maybe if you listen to him it won't be squeaky to you, but for me it is. That is mainly because in Mexico everyone's voice is so f---ing deep and I'm used to that, so then I hear Prince Royce and it's like "HOLY SHIT.. TIED UP BALLS."
As for the whiny parts of his music, uhg. >.> Seriously? Why do you need to do little dog noises or whatever in your covers? It's so damn irritating.. Then his voice otherwise is so damn weak. It had a bit of a vibrato, but not much else. The only thing he can do is let out a high-pitched squeal.
Honestly you guys. What the hell. This guy gets more attention than Camila, Reik, David Bisbal, etc. etc. etc. I don't think that's actually fair, because those three (and many others. >.>) can have a strong voice, a deep voice, and a high voice. But of course nobody acknowledges them, instead they acknowledge trash. :I
Don't get me wrong. I like Dominican music. Just not Prince Royce.
And maybe there's ONE song I can stand.. But otherwise I just don't like him. AT ALL.
(I am going to get sooooooooo much hate for this. ._.)
