I've gotta go Lamb of God. I've gotten really into them lately. They're intense, fast, and have a real groove to their music, which I really like.

Here's a question Hikaru: Would you classify Lamb of God as metalcore, or would you call them something else?

Groove Metal, but Groove is surprisingly very close to Metalcore.

I was thinking Groove myself- Lamb is obviously influenced pretty heavily by Pantera.

Ya, but strangly enough, they said that their biggest influence was Megadeth.

That is kind of strange- aside from "Redneck", I haven't heard any Megadeth in their music. Also lead singer Randy Blythe cites punk bands like Sex Pistols, The Misfits, and Bad Brains as his biggest influences.

I think that makes more sense. I hear some elements of hardcore punk in Lamb of God's music.
