One day I couldn't sleep
It was 4 AM the day
I decided to stop the weep
And found a different way
I reached for my sketchbook
And closed my eyes for a moment
Then I had a great look
On a land that did not know torment
And I saw

Resting on the branch of a tree
With the orange and purple dawn skies
And all those high white mountain peeks
And then I thought about how
Great it would be in that land
But even right now
I'm far away, just standing in the sand
Eyes as blue as the pale sky
And irisis bloom all around me
Just holding your hand and try
To make imaginary all you see
And at that moment, I realized
