  Michael Jackson- King of Pop
  Elvis- The King, popularized rock n' roll, basically the biggest rock star ever
  Hendrix- Greatest guitarist ever, invented the art of shredding
  Mercury- The Queen, all-time great vocalist and frontman.
  Ozzy- The Prince of Darkness, a legend of heavy metal
  Alice- First real shock rocker, another all-time great with an insane impact.
  Jimmy Page- the driving force behind Led Zeppelin, one of the best and most revolutionary bands ever.
  
  Pretty good list so far. Really surprised no one has mentioned The Beatles or Jagger or Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones.

  I would have gone with Mr. Lennon if I hadn't chosen Hendrix.
