When I was little, I wanted to be just like Hannah Montana so I always imagined myself with a wig singing the songs I wrote, still living a normal life. When I'm bored, I try to think of the next big hit, but I'll forget about it soon afterwards. They're basically all about being famous and being yourself, nothing lovey-dovey, and it's all pop.

The Coldest Sun NewbieCarri- That sounds like a very interesting hobby. What existing songs have you rewritten?
Ozzy- Hmmm.. Have you ever done a screamo one? I could never make a screamo, but maybe you could?
Xen- Do you still remember these songs? And did you make a rythm for the words? -
Alex13writer JuniorYeah, I write songs and the accompinament. I play piano, viola, guitar, flute, violin, and cello so I have dozens of song books filled and tons of ideas in my head.

Oh, Yeah, I have a few ideas for screamo, But I've never written one. I'll do it later ^^

@Sun: Yes, and yes. A few of them as I was writing them another song was stuck in my head so they kind of had the same tune...I can't play any instruments yet, but when I start taking piano lessons I'm going to officially start writing my own songs for youtube.

I'm trying to write an english version for Dolls by Rin Kagamine -
I can't write songs. If I'm thinking about it. But if I just start singing (or playing on my viola) randomly then my brain switches to song mode and I can make one up. But I can't actually write it.

When I was younger, I used to do a lot of lyrical writing and would just try and remember the rhythm/melody. I made a song once, though, with lyrics along with notes for the piano. It's not perfect - far from it - but not bad at all for my first 'proper' song. I was well chuffed with it. :)

The Coldest Sun NewbieXen- You'll put them on Youtube? Would you tell us when you do so we can see?
Phoenix- Have you written any about experiences you haven't had? It's a lot harder than it seems.
Dragon- Consider keeping a notebook on hand to write songs down when they come to you. It helps even to simply write down words and phrases that could help you later when you have time to think them over.
Leah- Your first proper song? You mean like the first song you write that sounds professional? -
yeah i have a computer that when i think of a song it types it up for me when i sing it

I once wrote a song on my harmonica....
