Okay, so I've just been feeling really weird about people's music taste lately. Even when I was little I was critisized for my music taste. But not because I like bands like The Beatles, or anything like that. It's always because I also like stuff like Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, or Taylor Swift.
I'm just really tired of people talking s--- about what I like about music. I feel like only liking one genre of music makes you a little more close minded to what other people like. People who only listen to pop, or screamo, or rock... They're closing themselves off to what others might be thinking or feeling- especially when they talk s--- about the other people.
There's not a lot of music I hate, or won't listen to. But I hate when people just shoot me down for liking what I like. Like it's going to f---ing change just because someone else disagrees... -
I know what you mean. Having a good taste in music is not given to everybody. Screw haters!
