tongue NewbieYea Black Metal is pretty much Death Metal with some subtle differences, like the drumming is more blast-beat and the vocals are a bit more aggressive, or that's how I've heard described. But yeah, Christian Black Metal is one big contradiction. Black Metal by definition is obsessed with death and torture and really dark subject matter, so Christianizing it makes little sense. As for Flyleaf, Ana, it's hard to definitively call them a metal band. Hard rock, alt-rock, alt-metal maybe, but Flyleaf isn't metal the way a band like, say, Killswitch Engage is, and certainly not the way Death Metal like Deicide or Cannibal Corpse is.
