  Dudes, just listen to what you like. I'm sick of purists. If you don't like what's popular you have two options, search out bands and musicians you like more, or GET OFF YOU ASS AND MAKE YOUR OWN MUSIC.

  I think that our taste in music has gone down- though I also won't deny that I like certain pop and like most hip-hop/rap. I will always love the classics though- they are just that: classics. it is because of these groups that music has roots and we always need to trace those roots.
  
  I like though listenening to a little of everything and apreciating everyone's style of music. :)
