Thread Topic: My fav raps.
-
Puppetmaster, in my last thread, you asked how I found Christian rap, my sister got a Tauren Wells CD and I got to listen to it. He's got a lot of raps in his songs.
-
Sorry about that thread by the way.
That’s really interesting, for me personally I found Christian rock by accident through skillet and fireflight.
Do you have any suggestions other than what was in the last thread? -
NF and Lecrae are popular christian rap artists. Some of their songs are pretty good. I'm not really into rap myself, but the artists aren't so bad.
Christian rock is fun. I've seen Skillet in person and they're intense. I kinda like listening to Switchfoot and Thousand Foot Krutch. Not sure if both are strictly considered Christian, though. -
Kind of an odd question, but have you ever tried to write your own Christian raps?
-
i have
-
Nope

ended up satanic. but it was all out of my hands
-
Lol the only two genres I don't really like listening to are rap and country.
-
Cool story, but I wasn’t asking you Boss.
I like some country, but it’s usually just not my thing.
@weirdhead, a song I’d suggest is unbreakable by fireflight , it’s really good. -
my favs are probably metal/hard rock and rap/hiphop.
-
Good for you

fine ill leave

Puppet Master12: I haven't tried, but my sister has. Also, some other suggestions are all part of other songs, and there's one in Crowder's "Prove It", done by KB, and one in Crowder's "Promised Land" done by Tedashii (Who, by the way, is my favorite rapper). Maybe I'll try listening to unbreakable, idk.

This is probably more nu metal than rap, but yeah. :P
