I am going to be having a baby girl next month and I am looking for music that I can listen to while at the hospital. Uplifting stuff, no metal or anything harsh. Like real up beat music. Don't care what era it comes from.

Hm. What about Death Cab for Cutie's Underneath the Sycamore? It's a really mellow song. It's not angry or harsh

There's this couple on YouTube that creates really nice uplifting music and covers a lot of hymns. Sounds Like Reign. I like them.
Also a lot of Sixpence None the Richer is upbeat and not too harsh.
I don't know all their work but Kings of Convenience makes some great soft indie music. Also would recommend The Ocean Blue.
And if you're looking for anything on the calming and jazzy side, there's another channel on YouTube called Dreamwave. Those songs make great background tunes lol. -
