Yo Lyle, Miracle of Sound is sung by an Irish dude and he does a few Irish songs as well as Celtic music. The link above is a metal cover. -
Cool I'll check it out.
-
because it's not offensive? they're literally just expressing themselves and talking about the music they like while you come in and attack them for no reason? come on
-
I think they just don't like me. They've accused me of being emo because I posted a quote ( I think about stars) that really made me feel happy.
I'm not sure and I don't really care anymore.
Holy s--- Sylvia it's really good! -
*Woman, not Women. Women is used more when speaking about other females, not oneself.
Uh huh, sure you did buddy. And even if you were, you still have no right to barge into someones thread and start bashing them for liking a style of music. I like rock music. A lot of rock music originated from the UK. But oh no, i'm an American. By your logic, I shouldn't be allowed to listen to UK music because of that since it's 'offensive'.
In short, if you don't like something you see, ignore it. -
Not Celtic but based on Celtic ballads(?)
It's what my painting in the workshop is based on.
( The image sin the video) -
Aren't they from England?
-
Ok I think it's best if we just ignore them.
I'm sorry if I'm offending you I'll hide my posts if that will please you but I will not stop posting about the music that I love.
The language of most of them is a language I have grown up hearing. It's comforting to me and I will not be told by a stranger that it's wrong. So again I'm sorry but I really hope you understand. -
"I am a women"
"I'm an older user"
Haha, no. Anyone sharing an account wouldn't be referring to themselves in the first person as often as you are. Nice try, bucko. -
lyle, i suggest you ignore them from now on
we've already marked the kill yourself thing, and i'll keep an eye on this thread so it doesn't happen again
we're still discussing the insults they said too, but for now we'll leave them be until we do find it offensive enough to mark (or if we do) -
late post
that's a good idea -
I think my favourite thing about this kind of music is that it almost always tells a story.
I've been able to develop characters from these songs.
My character Mary for example she's based on Teir Abhaile riu. -
Whenever I hear this song I just want to get up and start dancing.
-
The fiddle is such an amazing instrument. I think it's different from the violin but I'm not sure.
This song;-; -
Apparently Ireland had a pirate queen
