Hawthorne Heights, Saves the Day, Junior Varsity, etc.
The new stuff isn't the same tbh -
Hell... Lots of bands rode the bandwagon and couldn't measure up to the real emo bands.
Gerard Way said emo sucked and mcr wasn't emo.
Fall out boy is ok.

I just miss emos in general they weren't as horrid as kids today.

I'm not emo, but are most of the stereotypes true? Or are the younger emos the reason some of the stereotypes exist?

The stereotypes were atound with the older emo kids too. Like other stereotypes, they aren't true. A lot of them came from misrepresentation or people just assuming things tbh -
