Yeah I'm new here, I'm a friend of Ana. And Smashing Pumpkins broke up because first the bass guitarist D'Arcy got busted for doing cocaine, then the guitarist James Iha got sick of it and dropped out, then there was only lead singer Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin and in early 2009 Jimmy dropped out. Before all this happened they were a really great band in the 90s. -
