I absolutely never want to hear the term "smart businessman" or "smart businesswoman" associated with any musical artist. The merit of your music alone should be the only thing anyone talks about, not how you market yourself, not how many people you follow on Twitter, not how well you dress. The music alone should be the only thing that matters.

I don't understand why music is so addictive. It's literally just voices and instruments. I've never been able to understand why it's so overwhelming sometimes. It can be so beautiful, and I can't ever seem to turn it off. I still don't understand why.
