Also how can you say, "They were getting old"? That's a bit rude. So what if they have experience in the music industry and have been around long enough to make a positive difference in some peoples' lives? Is that bad? They're not One Erection that's only been out for barely a year and only have pretty faces or Bieber who's just whiny. -
About the whole 'they were getting old' thing;
Cha is 52 years old and I've heard his work from the 80s to around early 2000 when he made a solo album. He still rocks guitar for Gackt, and he rocked with Hyde once. He's not too old, and he sure doesn't act like he's old.
Hyde's in his mid-40s, not necessarily old, but he's been around for a long time and works five separate projects.
Dir En Grey will probably make it close to their fifties so long as Kyo can sing and write. That man may seem odd in the head, but he's far more creative with his words and work compared to a lot of the mainstream crap I've heard, compared to other rock and metal bands. Kyo's got a fascinating mind really, yet he seems so casual, very much like anyone else when he's not performing. He's 37, so his band's got plenty of time before retirement. -

I meant old as in one of them have a family and probably needs to take of them. Not the music is getting old.

They can have a family and be musicians. As Mo said, some of her favorite artists are older.
