Ok, so the Hunger Games Movie release date means something.
It was released to movie theaters on 3-23-12.
The 3 is how many books in the series.
The 23 is how many people die in the games every year.
The 12 is how many disticts there are.
Its kind of cool acually. -

It's cool, don't get me wrong. But, I'm so f---ing sick of hearing about all of these Hunger Games fans. I read the books a year ago before anybody else read them or before the movie and everybody didn't care about it when I told then about how it was such a great book. But, when they hear a movie is coming out about it, they become Hunger Games fans. b---- please.

Flibber - I totally agree. I read it way before the film came out and I've always been obsessed lol :P but its annoying how people only like it for the fit guys in the film :/ so annoying! I love Josh hutcherson an' all, but seriously, people go nuts just for the film, whereas he book is so much better! It also annoys me how people are moaning about how rue and thresh are black...I mean wtf?? *rant over* lol

@Flibber yes I guess I am, but its not like I am over the top like stupid fan girl screaming when you hear something about it. I just really loved Peeta's character and personality so I decided to use his last name as my username :3 I really love Hunger Games, but I have always liked it, not just because a film was made about it, and that is what annoys me because the original fans have been like kicked out if you know what I mean. Lots of original fans I know dont like it anymore because it seems everyone loves it which is a real shame :( ( the bit about losing fans, not the fact that everyone loves it)

@MrsMellark, Whatever you say, but it seems to me that the fans of the book and not the whole concept, are kinda quiet fans. Not super "I'm gonna marry Peeta" sort of people. Just saying.
