1. Shrek 2
Simply put, it is a cinematic masterpiece. There isn't much else to say. The music, characters, and scenes speak for themselves.
2. Shrek
Pretty good. Many quotable moments. Not even close to as perfect as 2, but it's a solid, enjoyable film.
3. Shrek Forever After
Would be okay if it didn't make Shrek completely out-of-character. I genuinely hate the movie for that, but there's too much thought and effort put into it to discount the entire film.
4. Shrek The Third
Who the hell thought this was a good idea? No. Just no. This movie sucks big fat ogre balls. It is a disgrace to the Shrek legacy.
